meet the doctors
Dr. Nicole Ramos
Dr. Ramos was raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and completed her Bachelor’s in Biology at Augustana College. She received her doctorate at the Illinois College of Optometry (ICO). For several years at ICO, she served as the Head Fundraising Chair for SVOSH (Student Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity), and she now coaches optometry students across the nation in board exam preparation.
After graduating from ICO in 2018, she moved to Denver to complete her residency in Refractive/Ocular Surgery & Ocular Disease at ICON Surgical Eye Care. Dr. Ramos has also completed rotations at the Daytona Beach VA Medical Center, East Valley Eye Center in Los Angeles, and Insight Vision Group in Denver.
She is passionate about quality eye care and values effective patient-doctor communication. She specializes in ocular surgery and ocular disease management including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and post/pre-op ocular surgery management.
She is an active member of the Colorado Optometric Association and American Optometric Association.
In her free time, Dr. Ramos enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with her family, friends, and cockapoo pup.
Dr. Taylor battaglia
Dr. Battaglia is originally from Illinois, but moved to New York to practice before moving out to Colorado. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology at Augustana College and then earned her Doctorate of Optometry from Illinois College of Optometry.
She completed clinical training in primary eye care, ocular disease, specialty contact lenses, and pediatrics.
When she is not examining eyes, Dr. Battaglia likes traveling, hiking, and snowboarding.
Dr. Kelly Crews
Dr. Crews grew up in Fort Collins and attended Colorado State University, where she majored in Biomedical Sciences and Spanish. Following graduation at CSU, she attended The Ohio State University College of Optometry. She moved back to Fort Collins, where she spent a few years working with eye surgeons.
Dr. Crews also completed her MBA online through the University of South Carolina.
In her spare time, she likes spending time in the mountains, cheering on the Buckeyes and traveling.
